Hi everyone! My name is Amanda, i'm 19 and I currently go to school for nursing. I've always loved animals and have a passion for photography. My axie is my baby, I love him sooo much and am ordering him a friend this week! I'm so excited for him/her to get here.
I can't wait to learn from everyone on this forum!! It's nice to meet you all

I have 3 cats, 4 dogs, 5 goldfish, 1 fat-tailed gecko, 1 ball python and of couse my axolotl Lime! Here's some pics :)

Thanks! I've always had calicos. they're one of my favorite cat colors! haha

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
