Hi everyone.

How much is the maximum time for a female to lay eggs?

I'm pretty sure that I saw my couple of axolotls copulating two days ago...
But until now my female didn't laying any egg.

Is it normal ? Maybe they have not finished copulating or she may still go put those eggs?

Sorry about my bad english and thanks for any help.

Regards,
Rafael

They usually lay eggs within 24 hours of picking up a spermatophore. There isn't really any copulation, per se. The male will drop a spermatophore, and the female will pick it up.

Yes, I meant this when I said copulation... My mistake...

I saw her picking up and after pushing the male... She was following he too.
But until now, nothing of eggs.
