Okay so i have batch of axolotls that i have been raiseing, they are just about 5 inches (4 3/4) and are in there 5th month of life. (i think maybe 6th born sometime in the summer)
I noticed this one axolot that looked different in my breeder tanks that have no light, so i took it out and put it in a small contianer and let it float in my adult axolotl tank to get a better look. he/she looks like to be half purple and blue perhaps indigo?
Also is he/she to young to sex? im not sure my other axies that were born on the same day have already started maturing last month (tips have changed colors and some are more fat than the others)
So basically...what color is this axolotl considered and what sex is it:happy:
Oh and by the way this is the only purple looking one in my batch father is leucistic and mother is a meloniod
