Please post any pics you can & as many pics as possible from all angles... It will help the experts on here diagnose a problem or reassure you it's normal.

Hopefully it won't be something major - post the pics ASAP please :)

I am unable to see if there's pics on your profile as I'm accessing via mobile phone, so even if they're there I can find them. If possible repost a couple of pics here so that those of us using mobiles may be able to see them - the more eyes out there to help... the better :)

Lisaday, it appears that your goldie is... um... a well-endowed male. Any idea on how old they are?

Does the cloaca appear red in any way? Or is there anything protruding?

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
