When doing water changes to the new water i add i put tetra water/aqua safe ive been using the one for tropicalfish but should i be using the one for cold water? With the goldfish on the front? Help ive got myself in a tizz over this even tho there are no problems with my water or axies x

It's fine. Dechlorinators aren't temperature-specific.

Whats point in having two different one then silly things ha.. Thankyou for your help x

Its marketing, I quite often use a pond dechlorinator, its better value and has pictures of koi carp on the front.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
