Hi everyone, something I've found really helps niche hobbies is a central map where people can locate services.

If you are or know of a breeder, vet or retailer and you want to contribute, please make a post below with:
  • Name (of person or company)
  • Type (e.g. breeder, vet etc.)
  • Full address (or longitude and latitude)
  • Description
  • (Optional) personal review or comment

Please only give the details of individuals if it is yourself or you have their explicit consent.

View the map here (of course there's nothing on there yet): Caudata - Google Maps

I have a herp vet recommendation. This vet has successfully treated 2 of my animals over the past couple years - a morphed Ambystoma Andersoni with a skin irritation, and a Pleurodeles Waltl with bloat.

I hope more people contribute to this thread, as this would be a wonderful resource for all of us!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
