Introducing new food to juvies

My little babies are eating way to many brine shrimp and i would like to introduce bloodworms but they dont seem even the slightest bit interested in them. I don't if there is an easy way to introduce new food and suggestions would be great. I would like to stick to live food but I cannot find and Daphnia anywhere close to where I live.

In essence stop offering the brine shrimp and only offer the blood worm. When they get hungry they will eat them! Don't panic if they miss a few feeds in the process it won't do them any harm.

I had the same problem when I first got Albus. I got some tweezers and dangled the thawed bloodworms over his face (along with not giving him his old food, like CJ said). Eventually he got the point and started eating them on his own no problem. He just had to figure out that they were food.

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
