I am living in Sweden and have just get an Axolotl! Just at this stadium I'm trying to know and learn about them. I have not experience but I hope I can use this site for that and to know people with the same interest as well. I hope I can manage the big challenge of taking care of it with help of this site and people around who have more knowledge!

You'll find lots of great information here. Welcome to the forum!

Hello & welcome :)

Lots of great information on here & interesting topics with some very experienced knowledgable people.

Post a pic of you tank & axolotl :)
That way if there are any unseen issues they might be picked up early.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
