Just wondering what everyone thinks! Its in 2 sections with his feeding slate in the middle. Wanted something bit different so went with a dinosaur theme. He has plenty of tunel systems and hides.

that looks awesome man..good job...do you just have the axy in there?

Nope just him. i really should have got one of his siblings too. I didnt realise how addictive they are. Couple of people have said put some fish in with him. But when i got him he had been attacked by his siblings and had no gills or legs. He how has an impressive set of gills. and legs all grown back. But only couple toes on each foot. So bit protective of him.

But thanks for the feedback on the tank, something a little out of the square. :D

Love it! It's awesome & your little axolosauraus fits in beautifully :)

He's such a lucky little lotl :D

well i got the idea off a recent trip to our local museum with the kids. There is a dino display, and one of the displays was a axie looking creature. Looked just the same minus the gills... The kids yelled out look there is Pablo!

I now have my own dino display :p

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
