Thought this was a cute idea. Show me pictures of (your) axies with weird feet.
Toes clumped together.
No toes at all.
Also hellotta toes are allowed.
Toes on top of toes too.
Or how about a foot growing out of a foot.
Other weirdnesses too.

Show me!
Can't upload pics right now to start (my phone is evil), but I hope soneone else does.

Aries only has 2 toes go his back foot.
Saturn has 7 toes with one toe at 90 degrees to the others on his back foot.

They had these when I first got them

And I saw this poor lotl at the local pet store. You can see about 7 toes, but there were about 11 on that leg!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
