My ribbon is still not well I have tried over the last week to do everything that has been suggested to help him.

So now I am asking if anyone in the Newcastle, Australia area would be willing to take him and give him the life he deserves. I do not want him to suffer another day and I'm worried that is what's happening.:(:(

He has a great personality and often performs what I have called the Mexican hat dance across the front of his tank. He will let you hand feed him.
I believe he is a wild type, black with speckles on his tail.

If anyone could help, ribbon and i would greatly appreciate it.

I'm in sydney hon & KerryM is in Newcastle - I'll MSG her to get in touch. She might even be able to help your set up.

I'll PM you my mobile number

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
