Hey I noticed this today. It looks like the bones on the toes is exposed and I was wondering if anyone could give me pointers. They are in critter cages that are cleaned daily so water parameters should be ok.
Just keep the water cool and clean and wait for the 'superhealing' to kick in. Keep a close eye on it just in case fungus develops but Axies regeneration properties are pretty epic
Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
