Hi I already have a 7 month old axie, but rescued three back in February. Unfortunately, I do not know how old they are. Is there anyway I could tell? Thanks in advance for advice xx:confused:

Because axolotls grow at different rates depending on food / conditions / genetics. Telling their ages accurately is impossible - so they are roughly classed as:
Larvae (very young still growing legs)
Juvenile (from formed larvae to adult)
Adult (mature - 1yr & over)

Signs of becoming mature can be toenails darkening or lightening depending on your lotls colouration & once they are mature they show obvious signs of being male or female.

I hope that helps :)

You could post pictures of your lotls for some input on possible ages or stage of maturity :D (we love lotl pics!)
