Welcome to the forum, do you have any photos ? Would love to see your new Axie.

You'll find everyone here friendly and helpful with any questions you might have with caring for your Axie.

Welcome! Feel free to ask all the questions you need to and nose around :) I've been here for two weeks and they really helped me and Toothless settle in - she's my very first axxie!

What did you call your new axxie, and will there be any pictures soon? :)

PS Jen10s, I actually squealed when I saw your avatar! So cute!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
