This weekend was the Spring Fishy Fling Thing held here in St Louis by MASI

Well one of my golden albino axys won 1st place in the "other" category!!!!!!

It is just one of the goldens ive been selling here on the forum!

I dont have some secret special hidden axy that walks in the room and makes everyone swoon, just well raised critter with great foods!
 
dear lord let me go drag the poor critter from its tank for you pic thirsty monsters!
 
So since you picture mongers need a shot or three of the winner here goes

Bear in mind that it has not eaten since last Tuesday due to show prep but will be stuff to the point of bursting today :D

It is about 5" +/- and fiesty!

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
