Hello, I'm new to this forum and wanted to share my new tiger. I always scanned this forum, really interested in the updates on captive breedings. Thanks for looking, I look forward to learning more.

Thanks, it's a really good site and a lot of fun to read through.

Wow I've never seen one before. Very nice looking. And welcome to the site!

I took some pics of the little albino male today. He is looking really good, hopefully I can breed him in a few years. I'm trying to find some females from the same area/habitat he came from.

That's pretty awesome! I bet that wouldn't last very long in the wild though!

He looks so much like mine I wonder if they are the same animal? did you sell yours? I don't know much about the origin of mine but the markings are identical. So he is at least from the same area. If you do acquire some more tigers from this area, or are successful in producing some Hets, please let me know.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
