Hey guys,! My name is Tanner, i am not completely new, i have been here before and looked at other's questions and stuff, but now, i am completely obsessed. I absolutely LOVE this forum. So thank you all who made this possible! There is sooo much information on here and great, nice people that i have noticed that are willingly there to help and give out there knowledge, so thanks! I have 1 baby axolotl, he has front and tiny back legs in but now, (well a couple months ago) I got some....23? eggs, and now, they are all getting their back legs. I am very new to this, took the babys on, and only lost 1. So beautiful watching all of these growing up! These are by far my favorite animal in the world, and i spend and dedicate soo much time to mine:) But yeah, thats me and my axis. Thanks!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
