Hello everyone, I come from Switzerland and I'm a big fan of mexicanum.

I'm sixteen in all of fairly standard colors.

I do not speak very good English. But I have a friend who does animal transport in the world and I would like to import some special colors you, at home in Switzerland.

Does someone could help me through this process.

In advance thank you all for your hospitality.

Hi there! What colors do you have? And how would you like us to help you? I'd love to help.

Thank you for your hospitality.

I like color of the wild type, the leucistic and gold. I also called the melanin in Europe.

I'm looking for colors that are not here in Switzerland because the axolotls are not well known and I am passionate about these animals.

I also home of siren intermedia, leaves stick insects, the leopard gecko, the Madagascar hedgehog, rabbits, ducks, turtles and cows. And yes, I live in a farm.

You know the Swiss?

(sorry for my english, I have some ideas)

Welcome! I certainly know the Swiss, because I travel through it each year to get to Italy, but I've stayed there a couple of times as well. Beautiful country, though I mostly know the "Italian speaking part", especially Lugano. In which part do you live?

Hope you will succeed obtaining some other colours. It shouldn't be too hard though.

Hi Niels.

I'm from the Wallis (Valais) region. This is the area where there is the greatest ski resort. This is an area that is next to the Ticino and Italy.

I'd really like to find other colors. But it seems very difficult.

The next time you're in Italy, you stop in Wallis (Valais), there is good wine and good meat

Yourself you axolotls?

Melanoid leucistics are cool! Completely white, even the gills

I love wine and I've had wine from Wallis before, like Dôle. Liked it a lot.

We've got a copper, leucistic, wild type and a gold axolotl. They're all female, because we don't want to breed them. We're too busy with our other animals.

In October there's an anual meeting for newt and salamander enthusiasts in Gersfeld Germany. Check the site of Urodela Germany. It's a long distance for you of course but you will see a lot of different and really special animals there.

Thank you for your answer, unfortunately I do not speak German very well. I have some ideas but I'm rusty

Yes the leucistic melanin are beautiful too. I could have quite easily. But this is not the color I want.:lick:

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
