Hello
Happy to be on board, my name is David and I am from Long Island NY.
I am into pumilio darts and have kept emperor newts for over 15 years.
I am currently in negotiation with a member, who is also into Darts about
Making a trade for some kaiser newts, and yes this is from his breeding group.
He has been working with kaiser newts for many years and I am going in person
To see them. I am a strong believer that if enough people breed these gorgeous gem
There will be no buisness for the smugglers. Again I am excited to be part of this forum.
Thank You
David

Hey, Sapo, welcome to the forums.
You are a bit late, i´m afraid. The species has been included in CITES, the smuggling of wild animals seems to have disappeared completely and captive breeding of the species took off like a rocket a few years back which has resulted in there being large amounts of them in captivity and the species having become common enough to make it into the list of recommended species for beginners because they are tough and easy to raise.
I don´t know what paperwork is required in the US for the commercialization of these newts, but this is something you should check before you make any trades.
