So this morning i was sitting in front of Lunas tank, i had the camera and i was going through
all my photos ( because the memory was full :p) and i deleted a lot of photos, anyway i looked up and too my surprise the normally lazy and shy Luna was right at the glass looking RIGHT into the camera! so i quickly turned off the flash and snapped these pics,

i don't know why but Luna seemed to like how shiny it was.... anyway now we know that they like being in the spotlight :)

P.S happy love your axie day!!!! oh wait... that's everyday :D

oh and by the way i don't have the light on, it was bright because of the sunlight!

OMG!! What a Cutie!!!!
Mine is the same way, if I don't seem to be paying attention to him he takes his nose and moves the floating thermometer up against his tank til I look at him, it is so funny,

One of mine is attracted to the flash - I only have to point my camera at the tank and she's ther, front and centre, posing for me! Sometime she even dances for me:

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
