I really want a axie more, but here in Denmark we don't really have any breeders.. So I'm considering to get 2-3 eggs shipped to Denmark... But I don't know anything about the process.. Maybe you know some great reading stuff? And is 2-3 eggs enough, it isn't it all the eggs who actually survive? I only want 1 axo more, so that's why I don't want to buy 10 eggs and end up with 10 Axies.. I don't even have the room for so many baby's... And I don't want animal I can't take good care of :)...

There's some info on axolotl.org :)

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
