I don't have room for three tanks so I want to put my 3 inch Axie in with my 6 inch ones (there's two)
Should this be ok? Yes or no? Thanks xx

That's a 7.5cm? change in size? I think he's still pretty small to put him in. I personally wouldn't as I don't want to deal with a half nibbled axolotl, however you can get dividers so they can be in the same tank just with less anxiety it's leg may end up as dinner ;)

Nope , really bad idea. The smaller one will have a good chance of being a snack

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
