Hi :) one of my two axies seems to have a problem with its tail, it started to loose color at its end.. it's like dead skin.. i thought that could be a flux desease, so i directed the filter exit toward the suface, but its tail did't change at all.. so, is that a problem? and what can i do for it?

can you see this pic? http://imageshack.com/a/img811/9208/nued.jpg

To be honest, that tail looks normal to me. Both of mine (Wildtype and Golden Albino) have clear tips at the end of a rounded coloured 'inner tail.'

Was the tail tip ever bitten off or snagged on something? If so it may have grown back without colour.

If it wasn't, I personally wouldn't be over-worried unless someone with a more experienced eye spots a problem.

I agree, it doesn't look abnormal to me. My black wildtype has a very pale tail tip too.

Mine have similar and I believe it where the tail is growing in length.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
