Do axies like having a air stone.

Hi,
was just wondering is axolotls like to have air stones running with bubbles?
Is it good to have them, or nat always the case?

Mine like the air stone. They will position them selves over it :D
 
Mine like bubble surfing too! I have a bubble curtain for my adults, and they love it.

I don't have an airstone for my babies though, I think it would create too much current for 2-3" babies.

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
