Heat!
Do you have an air stone in there too?
I know a few people who have problems dont have the water hot enough, so if you havent got it somewhere warm, try to move them :D
Try to have a couple of bottles going, to hatch on different days.
If your lottles havent hatched yet dont worry as it takes them 48-72 hours to consume their yolk sack once they have hatched so when they start hatching, try to get one bottle going, then the next day, start the other bottle so you have an alternate supply

What exactly are you doing to hatch the eggs?
You need the air to come up right from the bottom of the hatchery, the right concentration of salt, a warm temperature and patience.

Right well I got told to do tbl spoon of salt in a 2 litr bottle of cold water and that they will hatch in 24 hours ... from today ive learnt its warm water they need with an air stone and can take longer than 24 hours which is why I thought I was doing things wrong which I was good job I asked .... so what concentration of salt do you guys recommend in a 2 ltr bottle? :)

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
