Hi everyone! My wife and I acquired our first axolotls (white leucistic and albino) about a year ago from a petland here in town, and a few months ago ran across a couple wild type babies they had placed in a little bug box, together with a goldfish, and some guppies, which had munched away at their axolotl tank mates, nearly to death. They were floating, and tipping over, and looked but days from perishing. I could not pass up the poor little ones' plight, and took them in. After a two week fridge stay, they have really bounced back.
The older ones have recently laid their first batch of eggs!
I attribute my pets' health to the wealth of information I have found here over the past year, and am grateful for the answers to my questions I have found time and again. The dedication members have to this site has set my mind at ease numerous times.
