Heart in brain?

Crazy as it sounds it appears that my 6week old albino hatchlings heart has moved to, and it still beating in its brain stem. It's tummy looks stuffed with bbs..could it have been pushed here. Has anyone else ever seen this

I'd say that's highly unlikely. Organs are attached with all sorts of membranes and connective tissues. And if it had moved in the brain it would have caused serious damage.
Would be cool to see the video though!

Axolotl hearts are very high up at the base of the neck. Embryologically it is on a level with the gills! The heart is a bit lower down in adults but still a lot higher than where you might expect from human anatomy.

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
