Have any of you heard of Cuddle Clones? ( http://http://www.cuddleclones.com/ ) Well they make plush clones of your pet! (I might attach photos) I asked them if they would make an axolotl, and got this response. (Attached file.) I was wondering what you all would think of this? I've been looking for a good axolotl stuffie for a while and this might be it! Although they are quite pricey... The axolotl would be around $129 (One hundred and twenty nine dollars... Wowza.) Anyway, they have a Facebook page with a lot more examples, if you'd like to see them. :)

I don't think I would be able to spend that much money, but those are beautifully detailed plushies. If the money wouldn't be cutting into anything important and you really want it I would say go for it.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
