Hi all,
My husband and I are new to having axolotls,
We have done lots of research and finally got our 2 5days ago.

So the research I've done confuses me and there is a lot of conflicting information. We have a small worm farm we set up that I was under the impression were good to feed our axels, ( I rinse and soak in water before feeding to them)
But the other day one of our axels seem to be doing a huge long white poop that (after I fished it out of the tank) seems to be a partially digested worm....
Since then I've been giving them blood worms which I understand are not a good 'always' food but thought it's maybe a safe option until I know further
I attached a pic of my axel doing the huge poop, then of the poop I fished out...(sorry)

Looks like a partialy digested worm to me.

Nothing to worry about though, probably the move has stressed them a bit and their digestive system is a little off. Carry on with the worms.

(And no need to apologise - poop is a regular topic of conversation here...)
