Hey there!
So I am currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Biology with an emphasis in Genetics and Evolution. For one of my classes, I have to use genetic data to create phylogenetic trees and write an 8-10 page paper on it. My organism of interest is the axolotl, and I will be comparing it to other members of the same genus to see where exactly they fit along the evolutionary timeline.
I realize things like this have been done before, and I hope to use past research to help me along the way. I am really looking forward to this project!

I do need some help finding papers and other credible primary sources regarding the genetics of axolotls and their cousins. Any help or advice is welcome, especially papers!

TIA!
