Hey,

Im not that great on introductions but I wanted to thank caudata.org for providing such a great community for people who really cherish their Caudates. This website is great, it provides great information and great help. Anytime I have a newt or salamander problem the answer is always here. Another thing I like is that if you ever want to buy a newt or salamander you don't have to worry about where its coming from because almost everybody here who sells breeds there caudates. Well I just wanted to say thanks for all your help and show my appreciation toward everyone who runs this website and all of their members too.

Your Friend,
Peter

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
