Hi there, thought i'd use the hint of introducing myself here.
My name is Patrick, 21 yo, and I'm from the Netherlands.

I took 2 young Axolotl 2 months ago, they have grown very nice since :)
It's a wild type one, with nice light green colors and dark dots.
And a white one, he/she is really really cute ^^

Here are 2 pictures of them:

I'm not here with any questions, I just wanted to see what kind of discussions people have going on here and get acces to photo's of others as well :)

Cheers

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
