Hi, I'm trying to find some marbled (or spotted, etc.) salamander larvae but I haven't been able to find any online. Was wondering if anyone here knew where I might be able to find some.

Hi.

Unfortunately, unless there is anyone captive breeding these animal's, it will be highly unlikely that they will be advertised here. We don't advertise wild caught animals on this site.

I don't necessarily need wild ones and I have found a few sites selling marbled salamanders, but not larvae. I also don't have a habitat set up so it would also be a while before I could take them.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
