Hi all!

This will be my first post asking for help/advice!

I bought this gold abino (Nova) roughly about two weeks ago from a breeder local to myself and I did notice that Nova's back legs looked odd but decided to go ahead with the purchase anyway.

Looking more in depth I have become more concerned with his hind legs going upwards (as you can see in the attached pictures)
In terms of walking, he does manage but I feel that it doesnt look correct - he uses them like a rotating watermill to propel himself forward, but he swims perfectly fine when he goes up for air.

My question is, should I have someone look into this or will it correct itself with their regenerative abilities?

Thanks for the help in advance! :)

Tank set up and info:

Tank - Juwel Vision 180
Temp - 71 degrees F (never goes beyond this)
Tank mates - Two other axolotls of similar size and age
Live plants - Plenty inc marimo moss balls
Tests via API freshwater master kit
Ammonia - 0.50ppm
Nitrites - 0.50ppm
Nitrates - 40ppm
PH low range - 7.6
PH high range - 7.8

Axies usually lift their legs like that when they need to poop. What are you feeding him?
