I was hoping some of you guys might have a lead on someone breeding and raising the blue eye version of the White's tree frog litoria caerulea? I bought 4 from someone I thought bred them and in two weeks they all passed on :( When I received the frogs they looked liked they had not eaten (shrunken stomachs) and seemed to sleep all the time. A good testominal to sometimes why buying on-line can be a problem (the pictures I was sent were of healthy fat looking froglets!). Live and learn! So please if you have anyone you have received frogs from and would be willing to pass on their info I would appreciate it.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
