Just for reference, here is the hybrid tiger salamander! This is an adult hybrid salamander. They grow larger than either of the parent species, the introduced barred tiger salamander and the endangered California Tiger salamander. They have a larger mouth and grow fast, and have been wreaking havoc on other species that share ponds with them. The larva are rounded up from ponds.
