Hi there,
since I got my Axies in July, my leucistic axie developed
many dark spots around her face (and back) and
she is getting darker and darker....
That is how she looked on the 17th of july.
On the 11th of August
Today, 25/8/08
I have seen others here have or had the same "problem".
She came from a litter with leucistic and wild coloured offspring.
Is this normal in such a litter that the leucistic develop dark spots?
is it connected to gender/hormones?
Are the dark spots of any importance (health, behaviour) to the animal?
Anyone who would like to share some experiences?
