Default C. Orientalis Efts

I have a bunch of C. Orientalis efts that I'm currently selling. They are captive bred from my breeding group and just recently morphed within the last month or so. Asking $40 each plus shipping. Shipping is done via UPS express and shipments occurring Monday through Thursday if weather permits. Cost for shipping varies due to location of where they are being shipped, PM me with a zip code if you are looking to get a cost on shipping cost.

-These are TERRESTRIAL efts, not aquatic adults. These guys take a while before they may begin to show sign of being aquatic and must be in a terrarium set up.
-They eat live food. Right now my guys are raised on dusted fruit flies but can over time be taught to accept frozen foods from tweezers.
-Roughly around an inch long in size.

Do you/will you have babies from different sets of parents?

I'd be interested in 4 but I'd rather not have siblings to eliminate in breeding.

Ultimately, 2 males from one set of parents and 2 females from another would be best if possible.

Thanks!

Unfortunately there is absolutely no way for me to sex them even freshly morphed. I have a batch from last year that I STILL can't sex cause they are still too small to do so. Also all my adults are in one tank together, I know everyone is unrelated but I don't have the means to separate there, really its difficult to tell who bred with who.

I am interested in purchasing a few this fall unless I find some in my area that I can pick up. (I believe it will be less stressful to the newts so I prefer obtaining them that way.) It will probably be cool enough in October for them to be shipped to Tennessee. I will contact you again this fall.

Fair enough. I'm in NC. Average temp right now is around 90 everyday. If I were to purchase 4 from you, would you recommend waiting until the weather cools down?

I should be having some freshly morph efts right around this time period. Looking at another 100 or so that I'll have available in the coming months. If you are still interested by then do let me know!

And I can do that! I know we're still in a heat wave currently in NJ so likely won't be shipping animals out anytime soon. However once there is a few cool days I can definitely do that if you are interested in purchasing them!

As a quick update since getting messages if I still have any available! I have plenty available currently but due to the temperatures rising with the Summer months that I've held off on shipments until temperatures are around the 70s.

If anyone is in the tri-state area and is interested in purchasing some, I can arrange to meet up with your personally or meet half way as an option.

I will have more newts available coming into the Fall months, raising some larvae currently and will have plenty available in the coming months.

I have them available but waiting for this heat to break before I start shipping them again.

I can say you'll probably not going to be able to find any in pet shops like you were able to before the pre-banned days where many of them were massive wild caught. Only way to really get these guys are from breeders that are captive breeding them now.

Update!

I had stopped shipping during the summer due to the extreme heat waves we had out here in the Northeast and temperatures just were not breaking enough that I could safely ship newts. With the heat breaking now that shipping will resume as of the 17th. I do have a few available (around 20ish left) right now that are my remaining efts while currently in the process of waiting for a bunch to morph.

Still going for $30 each with offering discounts for those getting a decent amount. Shipping is via UPS Express and prices can vary from $50 to $90 depending on your zip code. I will not ship postal nor priority with these guys sorry.
