Do you have evidence that those are captive bred adult eastern red spotted newts and not just seasonally collected like every other red spotted newt on the market?

I agree. I find this advert highly suspect and I'm not sure how it got through.

Iím a local who purchased alpine newts from Methos about two years ago. Iíve been inside his home and have seen his setups and newts. I know he takes great care of his newts, and has solid adult stock of everything he advertises here. Iíve seen the adult redspotted newts myself.

Hey A.J. It's Bradley Wilson here. You know for a fact that I bred and raised a bunch of these this year.

I have also seen Bradley's facility, his collection, and the newts in question; and, I agree that these are captive bred newts. Bradley doesn't anywhere near the range of the Eastern Red-spotted newt, and he really isn't the sort of guy who would drive 1000 miles each way to collect $200 worth of newts to sell.

Default Vouch for the guy Re: Fall newts available

Hi,

I just wanted to vouch for the guy on his ability to captive breed newts. He has a a Facebook page called Triton newts. He is a true "newt-ologist."

I jumped the gun and made judgments without looking deep enough. I'm not active enough on here but upon looking through the the forum it's clear that Menthos is an honest and productive newt breeder. My apologies.
