So many old threads, it seems nearly 75% have red x's where a picture should be. It seems a couple weeks ago, they didnt. Is it from the new software or something else?

Can you give links to a couple of examples, AJ?

Are you sure they worked a few weeks ago?

This weekend I noticed some of the photos in the older Dicamptodon threads had stopped working. They were working about a month ago. I don't know if it's related to this problem.

I know what the problem is and I will fix it later tonight. It has nothing to do with any of the recent forum changes.

Thanks, I unfixed it by accident a few days ago and forgot to "fix" it again.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
