hi!
1)what do i feed my FBN Larvae?
2)how much and often do i feed them?

I feed my larvea chopped up pieces of live blackworms. The pieces wiggle and they eat them. There are other thing you can use like live daphnia and live brine shrimp. But am dont use those. I just use the live blackworms. Feed them everyother day. Let them eat a couple of pieces, just drop it infront of there face with a tweezers. Mine are so used to the tweezers, that they will eat right off it. When they first hatch, they wont need to eat for a couple of days, so just keep trying till they eat.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
