Hello guys, super new to here. I posted in a different section before posting to here, no one got back to me on Houdini’s heath. But I just put a melanoid axie with my albino, they don’t fight everything is going well, my albino is just not eating!!! I contacted the place where I bought him from and he lost one of his gills because the minnows were literally attacking him... So i only have 3 minnows in my 20 gallon L tank right now, all parameters are perfect. Someone please help me as to why my axie isn’t eating his worms or fishies!! It’s been about 4 days he hasn’t eaten. He’s lost some weight and I noticed some white dots on his gills, even when I got him from the store.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
