"Unken"-posture in Cynops pyrrhogaster

Did anybody else notice this defensive behaviour in Cynops pyrrhogaster juveniles?

Hi Ralf, nice shot! Can't say I've ever seen one raise it's tail like that. I've seen C.e. larvae with their tail in the air, but that was after moving them by the tail and setting them down, and it might not be defensive behavior. I have, however, seen a panel exhibit at a herp conference of defensive behavior shown by C.p adults, and took photos of it. I might still have those photos...
