I have a adult tiger that ive had for about 18 months now and the other day i noticed that decided to come up from being under the substrate for the last thee days and then i noticed him just stop in his tracks and what seemed to look like a hiccup.after taking a closer look i noticed him jus standing there with his mouth wide open,to the point his eyes looked like they pulled back in its head. he held it like that for about 7 seconds then closed it real slowly.then immediately after he did it again.he continued to do this for about 10 minutes maybe a little longer.i began to worry because i had never seen this happen before except for when he would eat a really big cricket. After every feeding i make sure there is nothing let alive in the tank except for him so i know he wasnt jus swallowing.i guess my questions would be

Is this normal?
Should i be concerned?

any info would be appreciated.thanks everyone in advance.

It was either a yawn (yes, they do yawn), or one of these odd spasms that I've seen in newts, where they go rigid and close their eyes. It might be to stretch their skin before shedding, but that's just a guess. There's a photo of it, first photo on this page:
