Illness/Sickness: Axolotl gills looking funny??

Hi!
I got my axolotls on the 25th, and everything's looking good. I just had a query about my gold 'lotls gills? The feathers look fine, and she's kinda shy, but she ate some fish off of me the other day and she seems happy and healthy.
The tips of her gills are looking a little brown, and I haven't noticed it before. It could just be her colouration, but I wanted to share some photos to see what people think. I'm kinda new to this, so I'm just paranoid about everything... :p
The water levels are perfect (I had them tested at my aquarium), and she's on sand.

she looks happy and healthy to me, if she’s eating and the water parameters are fine I wouldn’t worry.

    with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
