My axolotl has something hanging from his but that doesnt look like poop looks like a worm that didnt get digested and im worried that this could be a problem i am probily overthinking it but i wanted to see what everyone thought and his gills turned from a pretty dark red to a orange color his ph ranges from 6to 7. His temp never goes above 68 degrees and i use dechlorinated tap water should i make any changes are his gills ok and also rate my setup

How long has it been hanging out of the axolotl? And is it protruding from the skin or is it coming out of the cloaca?
Set up looks good! Just made sure the rocks are larger than the axolotl's head, especially when it gets bigger. Remove any that are the same size or smaller than their head :)
