So my family and i are moving in a couple of days, and we're bringing my axie, Neo, with us. I stupidly have not done her weekly clean yet (i usually do it on tuesday or Wednesday but stuff popped up, not a valid excuse, i know) .
I was just wondering; if i did a big clean tonight and moved her tomorrow/the next day, would she be okay? Or should i skip the cleaning so i dont stress her out?

Any tips on what to do are appreciated.
Please ask any questions if you need to.

(Also I'm sick right now. (upper respiratory infection. I'm pretty sure that won't affect anything because I think it won't hurt her or her water but I'm just double checking. Will it?

Test the water quality and if the water is safe enough for one more day then I'd say leave it so the axie isn't overly stressed even though it probably would be fine

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
