Hi, i´ve seen my male cynops chasing and eating this tiny little worms. I´ve always had these worms in all of my aquariums. I had never seen any of my animals eat them before though.
Can it be a problem?? are those parasites??
I guess they are harmless since none of my animals have had problems with them before, but maybe eating them can cause problems.
any experience with these worms??

ok thanx. I was just wondering cause you know they look like planaria and all those aquatic worms. He spends all the free time he has after chasing the female in eating those worms....well better that way, he will clean out my tank haha

My newts laid eggs and when they "hatched" I noticed these tiny white worms all over my tank. After a couple days there wasn't that many. So I was wondering if it had anything to do with the eggs "hatching".

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
