Hello,

I've been a member for a while, but am just now posting an introduction.

I own and breed Axolotls and sell them as well - I am in most of the axolotl facebook sites (I'm located in Tennessee) I just recently also started an instagram for my business page on Facebook. I also try to enjoy other aquatic animals - I breed albino bristlenose plecos, Twinbar Solar Flare Swordtails, Red Cherry Shrimp... Every once in a while i switch something out... but this is my current stocking...

To show off, I've attached 2 pictures of 2 of my current animals.

First is Galaxy - My marble mosaic who was hatched from parents i still own on June 24th, 2017. He is appearing to be a boy...

Second is Equinox - This one is a Split Mosaic that hatched from a Golden Albino Female, and the father is an unknown (either Wild, Melanoid or Copper) All of its siblings were wilds and gfp wilds... and it was hatched Feb 8th, 2018. So its a solid grower...

I do have current animals available for sale, but i dont qualify to post them on these forums yet. If you want to see other pictures of my animals, or see what else i have going on - feel free to search instagram and facebook for ApartmentAquatics...

Thanks, i look forward to my time here!

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
