Hi, I’m Kath, mother of dragons (or at least axolotls :D)
I have had my wild-type girl Quetzi (short for Quetzalcoatl) for about 8 years. A few weeks ago I decided she needed a friend and along came Monty (short for Montezuma), a little golden albino boy.
It took 6 days for nature to take its course- I thought Monty was too young to be a daddy... His toes only blackened last weekend!
The eggs went well, I had many hatchlings. I split them into 2 tanks by colour. I was a busy but happy carer.

Sadly though, my babies are now dying. They look like their tiny stomachs are bursting :(. I’ve spent lots of time on this forum and related sites, both when I first got Quetzi and since the eggs appeared. I’ve been a bit more frantic this last week or so- mostly searching the sick/baby threads *sigh*. Anyway, I thought it was time I said hi and thanks for all the good advice.
